How we list firms

1. Who is included. Plumbing, heating, gas and electrical firms whose own website says they cover Islington, Camden or Haringey (including N19, N7, N5, N6 and NW5). National chains, lead generation sites and networks of look alike websites without a named business behind them are left out.
2. Where the facts come from. Each firm's own website, and Companies House for company number and status. We do not use Google Maps, Google reviews or any other review site.
3. Registrations. If a firm's website says it is Gas Safe registered, NICEIC or NAPIT, we say "as stated on its website" and show any registration number it publishes. We have not checked these with the schemes, so please check them yourself before work starts.
4. Order. Every list is A to Z. Payment never changes the order or what a listing says.
5. Featured partners. One firm per trade per borough can pay for a Featured partner box, always labelled "Featured partner (paid)".
6. No ratings. We do not publish star ratings, and we never write or buy reviews.
7. Corrections. Firms can claim, correct or remove their listing free by email.
